“Gamin's visual identity revolves around the concepts of locality and transmission, with and emphasis on anchoring, terroir, and strong values. The creative direction paid homage to the longstanding French tradition of markets and artisanal producers who have supplied high-quality, seasonal food to enthusiasts for centuries. The signs, packaging, and visuals associated with these places and products traditionally convey craftsmanship, expertise, and a commitment to excellence, all while maintaining a true respect for simplicity. The design focused on the use of quality papers and printing techniques, typography reminiscent of grocery storefronts, candy bags, and vintage stamps, as well as floral and vegetable illustrations inspired by bookplates, fruit labels, and traditional seal shapes.” - Anna Polonsky
